Social Needs Foundation

Background

The Foundation was established at FAMC Kade in 2012 which was Wors. Bro. Denis K. Y. Vormawor installed as the MOST WORSHIPFUL GRAND MASTER. The Most Worshipful Brother worked tirelessly by championing its cause so well that it was finally inaugurated at FAMC Tamale in 2014. It is worthy of noting that, its main purpose being social and humanitarian work in the communities we interact with and indeed live in. This we have build, maintained, upheld, achieved and sustained from 2015 till date and still Wors. Bro. Denis K. Y. Vormawor, PGM remains the chair of the Board.

Suffice it so say that, since it has the approbation of Heaven, member of the Order have continiously demonstrated one of our key PILLARS with zeal and fidelity in the advancement of our common humanity in WISDOM, WIRTUE and HAPPINESS...that is CHARITY and BENEVOLENCE: To protect the poor and the vunerable, the widow and the Ophan; as a Home for the Stranger, a Refuge for the Opressed and a Resting place for the Weary

6. Appreciation:

The Board of Trustees is grateful to the Togo Jurisdiction operating under the Eastern District/Household of Ruth No. 5, from where the inspiration for the Foundation was first developed. We thank the Past Most Worsghipful Grand Master of the Order, Manchester and a Grand Samaritan of the SNF, Wor. Sis. Marian Blankson-Vandyck for her endearing presence and eternal support; to Wors.Bro. Sunday Animeta Campbell, Past Grand Master, Nigeria and Jurisdiction and also a Patron of SNF, who is always with us including the rest of the Nigerian Brethren. To Wors. Bro. Alhaji John Bashiru Yakubu, Most Worshipful Grand Master, the members of Committee of Management, Ghana and Jurisdiction (COM); members of the BOT who at personal costs have ensured steady progress; to the Pride of Ablekuma Lodge No 12037, Accra who alone, of all the branches, has travelled the full distance to Grand Samaritan.

Our special thanks go to Wor. Bro. Innocent Demanya Ayivi from the Dew of Hermon Lodge, Lome ,under Eastern District Lodge 5, who early this year bailed out both the SNF and the COM by making a generous grant of GHC 60,000.00 to SNF, half of which is totally free and the other half returnable without any interest at all. We also thank brethren of Eastern District Lodge No. 12 who retained the title of the best performing District over the years. However it is now obvious that Eastern District Lodge No. 5 has come strongly to challenge the status quo*.

Thank you all for supporting the Foundation even while enduring our deficits.
